Act Green - Scholastic has launched ACT GREEN!, an educational website designed to motivate and empower kids to take action in school, at home, and in their community to preserve the environment. The multi-media website provides kids, parents, and teachers with customized green plans, expert tips, short films provided by Live Earth, and a "Greenroom" to share ideas with other kids.

A program for students from 12 to 16 years old
June 26th from 8:30a – 4p
The water is warm, the beaches sandy and the sun shines - they don't call it the Sunshine State for nothing! Join ELC and Central Florida Surf School for a day at the beach. Half day surf lesson and half day of swim time, games and beach combing at the Ft Pierce Inlet State Park. Cost: $75/student with discount for ELC members.
